class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A body of beliefs about God, man, Christ, and the church. We follow the doctrine taught by Jesus Christ and practiced in the New testament Church. We believe and profess:<\/p><p>There is only one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. God the Father; Jesus Christ, the Son; and the Holy Ghost are one. God Almighty created the heavens and the earth; man was made in the image of God. The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired , the product of holy men of the old who spoke and wrote ast they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21)<\/p><p>God has revealed Himself as a triune being, but manifested in three personalities as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Isa. 48:16; Mat. 28:19; Luke 3:22). The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, is divine, and shares in the Deity of God as the second person in the Holy Trinity (Mat. 1:23; John 5:22; II John 3; Heb. 1:1-3).<\/p><p>Jesus Christ is the Son of God; conceived by the Holy Ghost; born of the virgin, Mary. He died on the cross, was buried and raised from the dead. Christ ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for us.<\/p><p>Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. For there is no other name given under Heaven whereby we must be saved. Repentance and remission of sins is a part of the Christian walk. To repent is to turn away from sin and disobedience and turn toward God. The true Church is the Body of Christ (I Cor. 12:12-27), not intended to be the edifice or institution, but the habituation of God through the Holy Spirit.<\/p><p><strong>The mission of the church is:<\/strong><\/p><p>A) To be an agency for evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; Mat. 28:19,20; Mark 16:15,16).<\/p><p>B) To be a corporate body in which man may worship God (I Cor. 12:13)<\/p><p>C) To be a channel of God\u2019s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Eph. 4:11-16; I Cor. 12:28; 14:12).<\/p><p><strong>The ordinances of the Church are:<\/strong><\/p><p>A) Baptism by immersing in water.<\/p><p>B) Holy Communion of The Lord\u2019s Supper<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Doctrine A body of beliefs about God, man, Christ, and the church.
